September 3 & 4, 2008 @ 6:30pm

AUDITIONERS SHOULD PREPARE:

For Colored Girls - Please prepare a piece of spoken word, slam poetry, and/or contemporary R&B or Gospel song. Dance call backs Friday September 5, 2008 6:30pm. (Please note rehearsals will not conflict with Sharon Bridgforth's delta dandi master class.)

The Dragon -Must be memorized 1 1/2 minute lively monologue from any fairy tale. Could be nursery rhyme. Prepared children's book brief 1-2 minute selection showing your vocal, physical and imaginative capabilities. Bring book on stage. Prepared 16 measure of nay children's song or folk song. Dress for easy movement.

Zoot Suit - If you have a prepared monologue, present that however, NO preparation is required. It is highly recommend you read the script or see the film.

Starting September 2, 2008 sign up for a scheduled audition time. Come by the Department of Theatre Office.
