• To introduce youth to the theatre arts in a college environment that embraces innovation and thoughtful perspectives of the discipline.
• To seek to strengthen each student’s sense of self while exploring expression, communication, and imagination
• To create community among a culturally and socio-economically diverse body of students and staff in the classroom as well as in the final production.
• To further the mission of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Pomona College by providing a creative laboratory to promote theatrical opportunities for undergraduate and post-graduate students, building upon the pedagogy of both theory and practice.
